How do I delete my account?

The Short Answer #

Because we provide state-approved licensing courses, we are legally required to maintain certain student and financial records. While we can disable your login access and remove you from marketing lists, we cannot fully purge your student record or transaction history until the state-mandated retention period has passed.

Why can’t my data be deleted immediately? #

  • State Audit Requirements: As a provider of state-approved education, we must maintain proof of your course completion and student records for audit purposes by the state licensing board.
  • Tax & Accounting Compliance: For all paid accounts, we are required by law to retain financial transaction records for federal and state tax purposes.

What we can do for you #

If you no longer wish to use the platform, you can request to have your account deactivated. This ensures:

  1. Access Removal: Your login credentials will be disabled, and you will no longer be able to access course materials.
  2. Communication Opt-Out: You will be removed from all non-essential mailing lists and marketing notifications.
  3. Data Security: Your information remains stored on our secure servers, accessible only for legal or regulatory compliance.

How to request deactivation #
